Exclusive: STANLEY IHUGBA Pens Two - Year Contract With Ullensaker / Kisa
Published: November 22, 2012Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that 25 - year - old Nigerian midfielder Stanley Ihugba has departed newly promoted Tippeligaen club Sarpsborg after only two seasons spent in østfold county.
Ihugba has penned a two - year contract with Ullensaker / Kisa, and shall be officially unveiled by the club in the coming days.
The Sarpsborg hierarchy had offered Ihugba an extension to his current deal, which was due to expire at the end of the month. But he rejected their advances because he felt was not well treated by the club despite being one of the most outstanding players in the team.
For several months, Sarpsborg had been dragging their feet on a contract renewal. It was after they missed out on their transfer targets for next season that they shifted attention to Stanley Ihugba.
Ihugba made 40 appearances for Sarpsborg in the Adeccoligaen. He scored his only goal against Alta in October.
