Malmo Sporting Director Hints At OFERE Interest

Nigerian striker Edward Ofere has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Lecce following the club's relegation to the third-tier as a result of the gambling scandal. His stay with the Italian club was due to expire June, 2013.
A return to Sweden specifically Malmo by Ofere is not out of topic, and an announcement to that effect has been made by MFF's sports director Per ågren.
''Yes, this is news to me. We have followed him, but that he has broken his contract, we do not know,'' says Agren to fotbolldirekt.se.
Adds Agren: '' The only question is where he is today? We know he has had injury problems, and to my knowledge has not played in a while.''
The sports director refused to disclose if the club is presently negotiating with the former Enugu Rangers striker.
