Ex-Chelsea star Moses conditionally reverses retirement decision, tells Eguavoen why he quit 2018

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that former Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses has conditionally reversed his decision to retire from international football and was expecting to be called up for the national team's 2022 World Cup playoff matches with Ghana later this month.
Nigeria's interim boss Augustine Eguavoen explained that Moses wasn't considered for the games against the Black Stars because of ongoing events between Russia, where the player is based, and their neighbors Ukraine.
The Spartak Moscow star called time on his international career shortly after the 2018 World Cup in Russia, claiming that he wanted to 'focus fully on his club career and my young family, as well as to allow the next generation of Super Eagles stars the opportunity to step up and to flourish'.
After a recent telephone conversation with Eguavoen, Moses has now reconsidered his position and is ready to wear Nigeria colours again if his conditions are met.
The 31-year-old explained to the Super Eagles caretaker boss the real reason he quit the team in 2018 and it is something that has to do with the Nigeria Football Federation and their treatment of players' rights.
Moses played in two World Cups for the Super Eagles and was an influential member of the squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
