Published: March 04, 2025
Juventus hosts Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium in a very interesting clash from the 28th round of the Serie A. Stay with us and these free soccer tips today. Let’s get to work!
Juventus are the team in the best shape in the league at the moment. The Bianconeri won all of their last five matches in the Serie A. Thanks to this Juve are now in the Top 4 as they are 4th in the league with 52 points - just three points behind the third Atalanta.
On Monday Juventus achieved another consecutive win in the league. Thiago Motta’s team hosted Verona in Turin and enjoyed a solid 2-0 win. Khephren Thuram opened the score in the 72nd minute of the match while Teun Koopmeiners finished the job for the Old Lady. Motta’s boys had to wait before opening the score, but the most important thing is that they did the job at the end.
Is Motta going to make some changes in his line-up against Atalanta? We shall see. One of the things he could try is bringing Teun Koopmeiners back in the starting eleven. A former player of Atalanta, Koopmeiners scored a goal in the last game and this could be enough for him to find a place in the team.
Atalanta are unbeaten in their last five games in the league, but they won only two of them. At the same time La Dea is just three points behind the leader Inter Milan which means that they can even dream of winning the title. But Atalanta needs a better consistency in order to do it.
In their last match Atalanta made another draw and lost two points. Gian Piero Gasperini’s team made a disappointing performance against Venezia at home. Atalanta faced one of the teams in the relegation zone, but they were unable to score a goal - the match ended with a 0-0 draw. Atalanta had some chances to break the visitors’ defense, but Retegui, Lookman and De Ketelaere didn’t have enough luck to score.
Mario Pasalic is among the players who could return in Atalanta’s line-up against Juventus. The Croatian midfielder started from the bench against Venezia, but now Gasperini could try something different for the next game.
