Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that scouts representing Turkish Super Lig clubs will observe Tuesday's U23 Africa Cup of Nations Group B match between defending champions Nigeria and Zambia at the Al Salam Stadium, Cairo.
The talent spotters ran the rule over the Dream Team VII players during their 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast on Saturday but none of the players caught their eyes.
It is understood that the scouts will pay special attention to the Zambian national team players next tomorrow.
It has been suggested that a few Dream Team VII players are already known to Turkish clubs, the likes of Valentine Ozornwafor, Sincere Seth and captain Azubuike Okechukwu who play for Galatasaray, Boluspor and İstanbul Basaksehir respectively.
Of the 21 players named to Nigeria's squad list for the U23 AFCON, six are representing domestic clubs.
Kingdom Osayi (Giant Brillers), Sunusi Ibrahim, Mohammed Galadima (both Nasarawa United), Ndifreke Udo (Akwa United) and Abubakar Adamu (Wikki Tourists) will be hoping to put themselves in the shop window if they feature against Zambia.
Remo Stars' Olisa Ndah is suspended after he was sent off against Ivory Coast.
