Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that talented West Ham winger Joseph Johnson has pledged his international future to Nigeria.
Coach Haruna Ilerika will be delighted with this news as the Hammers youngster is age-eligible to represent Nigeria U15 National Team as he was born in June 2005.
Johnson also has the eligibility to play for England and he's believed to be on the radar of the English Football Association, but his priority for now is to represent the Future Eagles, which will certainly please his father.
Touted as one of the brightest young players at the West Ham Academy, Johnson is a winger with explosive pace, direct and a composed finisher, and has been likened to Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
He has scored 12 goals for West Ham's U15 team so far this season and 5 goals for the U16s while providing nine assists.
Johnson was on target for West Ham U15s in a friendly against RB Leipzig in October and having impressed in that game the Saxony-based club and Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim are exploring ways to bring him to Germany.
