Scouts from at least twelve European clubs were among the spectators that watched the French Ligue 1 match between Bordeaux and Nantes at Stade Matmut-Atlantique, according to girondins4ever.com.
Three English Premier League clubs namely Everton, Southampton and Watford had their scouts in attendance as Bordeaux beat Nantes 2-0, with former Sunderland starlet Josh Maja joining the fray for Bordeaux in the 84th minute.
Scouts from French clubs in the shape of AS Saint-Etienne, FC Sochaux, AS Monaco, Olympique Marseille, OGC Nice and Rennes also witnessed the action.
And Spanish La liga sides Villarreal and Getafe, as well as German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig were also represented.
Maja had been linked with English clubs but opted to join Bordeaux in the January transfer window.
