Catch up on the Nigerian players that were on target for their respective clubs in the European Leagues on Sunday, October 6.
In the Belgian First Division A, Emmanuel Dennis continued his rich vein of form by scoring in the 51st minute of Club Brugge's 4-0 hammering of Gent at Jan Breydelstadion.
Including his brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League, the one-cap Nigeria international has had a hand in seven goals (6 goals, 1 assist) in 13 matches this season.
The best individual performance by a Nigerian player on Sunday came from Paul Onuachu, who came off the bench to score both goals for Racing Genk in a 2-1 victory against Royal Excel Mouscron.
The lanky striker was introduced on the hour mark and 15 minutes later he cancelled out Osabutey's 49th minute, before netting the winner in the eighth minute of stoppage time.
In the Norwegian First Division, Flying Eagles star Igho Ogbu's 51st minute goal was enough for Sogndal IL to claim all three points against Sandnes Ulf at Sandnes Idrettspark.
It was the defender's first goal in Norwegian football since moving to Scandinavia in February 2018.
Peter Olayinka netted his fourth league goal of the season as Slavia Prague secured a 2-0 win at Jablonec in the Czech Liga.
With 16 minutes left on the clock, Olayinka doubled Slavia's lead, scoring on the near post after Stanciu's cross.
Finally in the Turkish Super Lig, Anthony Nwakaeme grabbed a 90th minute winner for Trabzonspor as they came from behind to beat Rizespor 2-1.
The experienced striker has contributed to 5 goals (2 goals, 3 assists) in his last six appearances across all competitions.
