Kelechi Nwakali Returns To Arsenal After Successful Loan Spell At MVV
Published: May 09, 2018Kelechi Nwakali will be returning to Arsenal after a successful loan stint with Dutch Eerste divisie side, MVV Maastricht following the conclusion of their league campaign.
Having joined the Gunners in 2016, his chances of turning out for them was stunted as a result of work permit issues.
The 2015 U-17 World Cup winner then joined MVV for a second loan stint in January and more than bolstered his stock, scoring four goals from midfield in 18 outings across all competitions.
He would rejoin the North London club for pre-season training but is likely to be farmed out on loan again due to paperwork issues.
Hale End Academy product Chuba Akpom is also expected to return from his adventure with Belgian club, Sint-Truiden and await further developments.
The former England U21 star previously enjoyed loan spells at Hull City, Coventry, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest.
