Nigerian exports: Onyedika, Maja, Olusanya, Azeez, Okereke, Nwachukwu, Itodo make waves with goals

Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the Nigeria-eligible players who scored for their respective clubs in matches across Europe on Saturday, November 23.

Super Eagles players Josh Maja and Raphael Onyedika both found the back of the net for their respective clubs on Saturday night.

Onyedika opened his goal account for the season as Club Brugge triumphed with an impressive 7-0 win over STVV.

With Brugge already leading by four goals, courtesy of goals from Christos Tzolis,, the Nigerian midfielder scored his first goal of the season in the 51st minute.

He delivered a stunning shot from outside the box after receiving a pass from Talbi. 

Onyedika was later substituted in the 58th minute, making way for Casper Nielsen, as Club Brugge continued their dominance.

In the Championship, Josh Maja netted his tenth goal of the season for West Brom, while Femi Azeez scored a dramatic equalizer for Millwall in their match against Sunderland.

Norwich initially led 2-1 at the Hawthorns, thanks to a goal from Marcondes and an own goal by Heggem.

Maja equalized just before halftime with a fantastic volley from inside the box, connecting with a cross from Fellows in the 43rd minute.

He was substituted with eight minutes remaining, replaced by Devante Cole, while Norwich managed to secure a draw.

Meanwhile, Azeez scored a last-minute equalizer in the 93rd minute after Connolly had given Sunderland an early lead in the tenth minute.

The former Reading winger tapped in a cross from Emakhu, who made a fantastic run down the left wing.

In Scotland, Toyosi Olusanya netted his fifth league goal of the season, helping St. Mirren to a 2-1 victory over Aberdeen, handing the latter their first defeat of the season.

Olusanya aggressively chased down a long ball from his goalkeeper Balcombe and calmly slotted it past Aberdeen's keeper, Mitov.

In Turkey, David Okereke scored for Gaziantep in their 3-0 win against Basaksehir, netting the third goal in the 74th minute following a pass from Badou Ndiaye.

Over in Bulgaria, Christian Nwachukwu opened the scoring for Botev Plovdiv in their 3-1 victory over Botev Vratsa at the Hristo Botev Stadium.

The Nigerian striker headed home a cross from Ivelin Popov in the 34th minute.

Finally, in Albania, Peter Itodo found the net for FC Dinamo City in their 2-2 draw against Skënderbeu at the Skënderbeu Stadium.

Itodo opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a composed finish from inside the box.

Despite taking the lead, FC Dinamo City had to settle for a draw after the hosts equalized with two goals in the first half.

As previously reported, Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi and another Hale End Academy graduate Ethan Nwaneri were on target for Fulham and Arsenal respectively with the latter setting a record as the youngest player of Nigerian descent to score in the Premier League.
