Chelsea's Tino Anjorin Handed Iconic No 10 Jersey Previously Worn By Moses At U17 Euros
Chelsea wonderkid of Nigerian descent Faustino Anjorin has been handed the iconic number ten jersey by the England U17s for the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship which began in England on Friday.

There is plenty of history behind that shirt number as it is worn by Nigeria international Victor Moses when he won the Golden Boot as the top scorer of the 2007 U17 Euros in Belgium.

Seven years later, Chelsea Academy product Dominic Solanke finished as the top scorer in Malta with four goals wearing the number ten kit.

Manchester City U18 captain Nathanael Ogbeta will play with the number three jersey if he makes his debut for England U17s against Israel this evening.

Arsenal pair Xavier Amaechi and Bukayo Saka have taken the number 11 and 17 shirts respectively, West Ham's Ajibola Alese 6 and the immensely talented striker Folarin Balogun 20.

If the jersey numbers are anything to go by, at least four of these players of Nigerian descent are expected to be named in the starting line-up by manager Steve Cooper against Israel.
