Kehinde Makes Cameo Appearance For Manchester United In Derby Draw
Manchester United U23s played out a pulsating 1-1 derby draw with Manchester City U23s on Friday evening, with talented Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde coming off the bench in the game.

The youngster who had been on the verge of a first-team debut earlier in the season was afforded a six-minute run-out in the clash, coming on for Zachary Dearnley while City's Tom Dele-Bashiru went the full ninety of the game.

Matthew Olosunde who has made 10 appearances for the team this term was entirely omitted from the Man United squad that traveled to the Academy Stadium though.

It is worth noting that this is the second successive game the Nigerian midfielder has been missing from the starting XI for the young Red Devils after initially making 12 starts for the team, and he has yet to go the distance in any of the last four games he has featured in.

Lorenzo Gonzalez's fourth minute opener was cancelled out by Indy Boonen's effort on the cusp of halftime and it stood that way till the blast of the full time whistle.

Fully promoted City Nigerian youngsters, Lukas Nmecha and Tosin Adarabioyo were not part of the youth Citizens that executed the game and could yet make the first team squad that face Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.

Manchester United would have to win their next game in the division and hope Derby County fall to their opponents if they would stand any realistic chance of avoiding relegation from the Premier League 2 Division One.
