Nigerian Defender Could Bid Farewell To Man City After Fourteen Years
Pep Guardiola has provided an update on the contract situation of Tosin Adarabioyo and the other Manchester City players, including Yaya Touré, Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, whose contracts expire in the summer.

Adarabioyo, who has been on the books of City for the past fourteen years, could depart the Etihad Stadium in June as talks on a new deal appear to have stalled.

“They have to play every single game for themselves, for their families and for the team,” Guardiola told reporters, according to mancity.com.

“They are so professional, but we are going to see how the team is until the end of the season.

“They have to forget about the contract. They are not professionals if they say they don’t want to play if we do not renew the contract.”

Central defender Adarabioyo was promoted to City’s first team but his progress has been stifled nonetheless, with only three appearances in all competitions.

Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are reportedly monitoring his situation and could swoop for him if he does not sign a new deal in the coming months.
