Italian-Born Nigerian Striker Scores Sensational Goal In Watford Win Vs Everton
Watford celebrated victory over Everton for the first time in twenty nine years after a hard fought 3-2 success at The Vic on Saturday afternoon on game week fifteen in the Premier League.

Four players of Nigerian descent had a chance to be involved but only two in the shape of Stefano Okaka and Ross Barkley tasted game time, with Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success remaining on the bench.

Poor defending from Watford allowed Belgian star Romelu Lukaku to tap in the opening goal in the 17th minute, before a brilliant finish from Okaka restored parity nine minutes before the interval.

The Italy international had caused problems in the Hornets defense and opened his Watford account with a back heeled goal after great movement in the box.

Watford fans celebrated twice in a space of five second-half minutes after Sebastian Proedl and Okaka scored with headers in the 59th and 64th minute respectively.

Lukaku gave Everton a potential lifeline when he scored a brilliant header in the 86th minute but the home team managed to hold on for a victory.
