Iwobi One Of The Few Bright Sparks In Arsenal Team In Loss To Southampton

Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi returned to the Gunners starting eleven for the first time in three domestic matches and put in a ninety minute shift.
Two first half goals from Jordy Clasie and Ryan Bertrand secured the win for the Saints and saw the Hampshire based team reach the last four for the first time in thirty years.
Iwobi, who started the game on the left flank, was one of the few Arsenal players that impressed and would have reduced the deficit with seven minutes remaining but his shot from distance was saved by goalkeeper Forster.
The Gunners return to action on Saturday when they face West Ham in the Premier League, three days before their trip to Switzerland for the final game in the Champions League group stage versus FC Basel.
