Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in Premier League 2 on Friday night.

England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo started and played the full game in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Two other England youth internationals of Nigerian descent, Layton Ndukwu (Leicester City) and Ashinme Kigbu (Man City), were not involved, though the winger made the Foxes bench.

Olufela Olomola played the entirety of Southampton
’s 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur and was cautioned in the 75th minute. Spurs U23s manager Ugo Ehiogu introduced Timothy Eyoma in second half stoppage time.

Chelsea duo Fikayo Tomori and Ike Ugbo logged 90 minutes each in the London derby versus Arsenal. No player of Nigerian descent was in action for the Gunners who beat their opponents 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Tolaji Bola, Aaron Eyoma and Chuba Akpom have played for Arsenal U23s in the league this term.
