2021 Super Eagles invitee open to a summer transfer to Manchester United
Published: April 26, 20242021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise is reportedly open to joining Premier League giants Manchester United in the summer.
According to 90min.com, Michael Olise would be open to a summer transfer to Manchester United should the Red Devils firm up their interest in him.
The Red Devils are targeting the versatile Crystal Palace winger as a potential replacement for Antony who could be sold after struggling to live up to expectations since his transfer from Ajax, while the future of Christian Eriksen is up in the air with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Crystal Palce want to retain Olise for next season but would be forced to negotiate with an interested club should they receive a £60 million bid.
Chelsea expressed interest in acquiring the France U21 international last summer, but the Cobham product ultimately opted to extend his stay at the Eagles by signing a new deal that binds him to the club until June 30, 2027.
As per the report, the Blues are not expected to reignite their interest in Olise as they are well-stocked in his position with Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Despite an injury plagued campaign, the Anglo-French-Nigerian-Algerian player has received praise for his performance, with eleven goal involvements in fifteen outings in the Premier League.
Olise has no shortage of suitors, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all credited with an interest.
