Arsenal-owned goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri has picked Super Eagles and Arsenal legend, Nwakwo Kanu as his favourite Nigerian player.
The young shot-stopper is eligible to play for three countries namely Nigeria, England and Uganda.
Ejeheri currently plies his trade with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, popularly known as SJK, a Finland top-division side.
He spent the first half of the season at National League South club Chelmsford before joining SJK in the January transfer window.
Ejeheri played in 25 games combined in three different competitions including The Vanarama National South, The Emirates FA Cup and The Isuzu FA Trophy during his time at The Clarets.
Statistically, Ejeheri was one of the top goalkeepers in the division, posting twelve clean sheets while conceding fourteen goals.
Speaking to Pulse Sports in an exclusive interview, the Arsenal-reared goalkeeper when asked about his favourite Nigerian player said: "Because of his Arsenal connection I'll give it to Kanu".
Kanu won the Olympic medal in 1996, the Fifa U-17 World Cup in 1993 and a silver medal at the Africa cup of Nations in 2000.
As an Arsenal player, he won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup also on two occasions, and the FA Charity Shield.
Ejeheri has featured five times out of a possible six for SJK since joining the Finnish side.
