Confirmed : Nigerian striker returns to Norwich City after loan spell
Published: May 09, 2022EFL League Two side Carlisle United confirmed on Monday which players will stay and leave the club following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season.
The Blues have informed that Belgian-born Nigerian striker Tyrese Omotoye has returned to his parent club Norwich City.
Omotoye joined Carlisle United on loan in the January transfer window and departs the club with thirteen appearances under his belt.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at another fourth-tier team Leyton Orient but his loan spell there was cut short due to a lack of first team opportunities.
The promising striker will be aiming to add to his four appearances for the first team of Norwich City next season following their demotion to the Championship.
Omotoye was loaned out to Swindon Town for a portion of the 2020-2021 season.
