Tottenham, Leeds, Fulham join Crystal Palace in race for signature of 2019 Nigeria U17 invitee
Published: May 02, 2022The battle for the signature of 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei is heating up with more clubs joining the race for the attacking midfielder's services.
According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and Fulham are prepared to battle Crystal Palace for the talented Derby County teenager in the summer transfer window.
German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig are monitoring the situation of the Arsenal academy product, and he's also drawing interest from Club Brugge in Belgium.
Ebiowei has entered the final two months of his contract with relegated Derby County and is unlikely to extend his stay at the Pride Park Stadium, considering that the Rams have been placed into administration for more than seven months and cannot offer new deals to players.
The 18-year-old made an impression after he was promoted to Derby County's first team in the second half of the season, scoring one goal and assisting two others in fifteen appearances.
Before joining Derby County last September, Ebiowei was on the books of Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers.
He trained with the Golden Eaglets in Turkey before the 2019 U17 World Cup and was selected in Nigeria's provisional squad for the tournament in Brazil.
