Arsenal-owned right-back Alebiosu returns to action after two months on the sidelines
Nigerian youngster Ryan Alebiosu returned to action at the weekend after spending approximately two months on the sidelines.

Prior to Saturday's League One clash versus Ipswich Town, the Arsenal-owned right-back had not featured for his loan club Crewe Alexandra since February 15 due to a back injury.

He received treatment at the Gunners before club medics gave him the green light to return to the pitch.

On his comeback from injury, Alebiosu started and was in action for 53 minutes as Crewe Alexandra and Ipswich Town played out a 1-1 draw.

The 20-year-old earned two call-ups to Arsenal's first team before he was farmed out on loan, against Liverpool in the League Cup and Burnley in the Premier League.

Chelsea Academy product Tariq Uwakwe also returned to action in the past week after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of action for two months.

The versatile wing-back made his comeback off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on April 19, before going the distance against the Tractor Boys four days later.

Alebiosu has played five matches for Crewe Alexandra and Uwakwe, also a January signing, has been involved in seven.
