Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman started and was in action for 80 minutes, Villa's Tim Iroegbunam entered the game as a substitute in the 76th minute, while Kelechi Iheanacho and Carney Chukwuemeka were on the bench for the entirety of the game.
At the Etihad Stadium, Gabriel Jesus was the star performer as Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the table to four points after thrashing Watford 5-1.
The Brazil international netted a quadruple and set up Manchester City's third goal scored by Rodri - a brilliant volley into the top corner from 22 yards.
Kamara had given the Hornets a little bit of hope when he fired a low shot past Ederson to pull a goal back after he was teed up by Emmanuel Dennis in the 28th minute.
Dennis went the distance, William Troost-Ekong was a non-playing substitute, Oghenekaro Etebo and Samuel Kalu were not in the squad.
In the late kickoff at the Brentford Community Stadium, Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka misses out through injury and Tottenham Hotspur center back Tobi Omole has not been picked by manager Antonio Conte.
