Torino hoping to sell West Ham, Crystal Palace-linked wing-back Aina to Premier League club
Published: March 02, 2022Nigeria international Ola Aina is preparing to bid farewell to Italian Serie A club Torino in the summer.
According to Calciomercato (via Footballnews24), Torino would like to sell the Chelsea academy product at the end of the 2021-2022 season and have set a price tag of ten million euros for the versatile wing-back.
Aina was close to a departure from the Maroons in the January transfer window but a proposed switch was halted by the injury suffered by Mohamed Fares few days after his arrival at Torino.
Torino are confident of reaching an agreement with an English Premier League for the sale of the Nigerian when the transfer window reopens.
Since returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty with the Super Eagles, Aina has fallen out of favour with no minutes under his belt, an indication that his future in Turin looks bleak.
French champions Lille are interested in signing Aina but are facing
competition from West Ham United and Crystal Palace for his services.
This website understands that Torino have opened talks with Aina and his minders on his exit from the Italian Serie A club this summer.
