Super Eagles striker joins Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea stars, 4 others in EPL Assist XI
Published: February 03, 2022Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis has been named in the English Premier League Assist XI of the season so far by football statistics website Whoscored.
The Watford striker is joined in the Assist XI by Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster, three Liverpool stars, two Manchester United players, while Chelsea, Burnley, West Ham United and Manchester City have contributed one player each.
Dennis has tallied five assists this term, coming in games against Aston Villa, Everton (2) and Manchester United (2) and it is worth noting that he also found the net against the three teams in those matches.
In a 4-2-4 formation, the Watford star was deployed as the left winger with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah taking the right winger role.
The defence contains right-back Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), center backs Tarkowski (Burnley) and Lindelof (Manchester United) and left-back Robertson(Liverpool).
Mason Mount (Chelsea) and Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) are the two central midfielders, while Jesus (Manchester City) and Bowen (West Ham) have been named in attack.
Dennis has been involved in nineteen of Watford's 20 Premier League matches this term but is not available for selection versus Burnley on Saturday after he was shown a red card against Norwich City on January 21.
