Official : Chelsea's Nigeria-eligible winger cuts short loan spell at Lokomotiv Moscow
Published: January 31, 2022Through their official website, Russian Premier League outfit Lokomotiv Moscow have announced that they have reached an agreement with Chelsea on the early termination of the loan of Faustino Anjorin.
The Railwaymen explained that the winger's loan spell was cut short due to the foreign footballers limit.
François Kamano (Guinea), Boris Rotenberg (Poland), Maciej Rybus (Finland), Pablo (Brazil), Gyrano Kerk (Netherlands), Alexis Beka Beka (France), Jan Kuchta (Czech Republic), Tin Jedvaj (Croatia) and Wilson Isidor (France) are the players referred to as legionnaires in the Lokomotiv Moscow squad.
Players from countries in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan do not count as foreigners in the Russian Premier League.
Anjorin departs Lokomotiv Moscow after making nine appearances in all competitions, scoring his first senior goal in a Europa League group stage clash against Marseille.
At the moment, the England U20 international of Nigerian descent is back at Chelsea as he awaits further developments ahead of the closing of the January transfer window.
