Report : Arsenal defender of Nigerian descent agrees loan move to League One club
Published: January 28, 2022EFL League One club Crewe Alexandra are on the verge of announcing the temporary acquisition of talented Arsenal defender of Nigerian descent Ryan Alebiosu.
Football Insider has reported that Alebiosu has agreed a deal to join the Railwaymen on loan ahead of the close of the winter transfer market.
Several unnamed Football League clubs were interested in signing the Anglo-Nigerian but Crewe Alexandra have apparently won the race for his signature.
The 20-year-old recently changed agents from London-based football agency RDF Football Ltd to Wasserman, an indication that a transfer is in the offing.
A product of Arsenal's Hale End Academy, Alebiosu is already pushing for a first team breakthrough at the Gunners, making the matchday squads in their last two games played against Liverpool (Carabao Cup) and Burnley (Premier League).
Alebiosu is set to link up with exciting Anglo-Nigerian youngsters Rio Adebisi and Tyreece Onyeka at Crewe Alexandra.
Crewe Alexandra are 22nd in the 24-team table with 22 points from 27 matches ahead of the upcoming game against Rotherham United on Saturday, January 29.
