Official : Former Eagles boss to manage three Nigeria stars at Watford
Through their official website, English Premier League strugglers Watford have announced the appointment of former Eagles boss Roy Hodgson as the club's manager.

Hodgson is coming out of retirement to take over the managerial reins from Claudio Ranieri, who was fired on Monday following a poor run of results.

The Hornets were four points above the relegation zone when the Italian was named manager but are now two points from safety though they have two games in hand.

The 74-year-old Hodgson was in charge of Udinese, another club owned by the Pozzo family, in 2001.

Hodgson will be coaching three Super Eagles stars Oghenekaro Etebo, William Troost-Ekong and Emmanuel Dennis at Watford.

Etebo didn't play any game under Ranieri as he was recovering from surgery, Dennis appeared in twelve matches and Troost-Ekong took to the pitch on nine occasions.

Hodgson has managed Taribo West (Inter Milan), Dickson Etuhu (Fulham) and Eberechi Eze in the past
