CD Leganes center back Kenneth Omeruo has provided a positive update on the injury he suffered in last weekend's clash against Barcelona at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque .
The Nigeria international had to make way for Rodri TarĂn with seven minutes left on the clock after feeling discomfort.
Omeruo has undergone tests to determine the extent of the muscular injury and it appears things are looking good for the former Chelsea star going by his post on social media this afternoon but he has not given an estimate of how long he will spend on the sidelines.
Having said that, it is thought that the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner will not be involved for Leganes when they travel to Andalusia to face Sevilla this coming Sunday.
''Going to be back soon... we keep fighting together with our strong supporters #vamosleganes #omeruo,'' Omeruo posted on Instagram.
Injuries have not been kind to Omeruo this season and this is the main reason why he has made only nine starts in La Liga and was relegated to the bench when the Super Eagles battled Benin and Lesotho in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
