The international break is over and various players went back to their respective clubs to continue from where they stopped.
It’s a football culture which must be observed from time to time. These are the top three Nigerian performers worthy of appraisal:
Paul Onuachu: The 25-year-old was a super substitute for Racing Genk against Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian First Division A.
The forward was introduced off the bench in the fourth minute of first half stoppage time and scored the second goal to give his side the lead in the 55th minute.
It was stalemate at the end of 90 minutes. He definitely did his part well by coming off the bench to score an important goal.
Wilfred Ndidi : Leicester City won their match against Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League.
Two goals to nil was how the game ended and the defensive midfielder was on point.
The central midfieder played is 100th game for the Foxes in the topflight.
Samuel Chukwueze: La Liga has been taken by storm due to Chukwueze’s tricky moves and mind blowing pace on the wings for the yellow outfit of Villarreal.
He scored the only goal for his club as they lost 3-1 to Celta Vigo. His goal came in the 59th minute.
