Spanish Football Guru Guillem Balague Singles Out Chukwueze For Praise After Third La Liga Goal
Published: November 24, 2019Celta Vigo ended their poor run of five consecutive defeats after beating Villarreal 3-1 at Estadio de la Ceramica on Sunday evening.
Pione Sisto opened the scoring for the Galician club in the 54th minute but the lead lasted less than six minutes as Samuel Chukwueze equalised after a lovely team build-up for the finish.
Two goals from Iago Aspas in the final ten minutes secured a win for Oscar Garcia's side.
Speaking as a pundit on La Liga TV after the game, Spanish football expert Guillem Balagué singled out Chukwueze and Gerard Moreno for special praise.
He said : ''Villarreal came back, pretty quickly as well, with Samuel Chukwueze who was with Gerard Moreno, perhaps, the best players.
''After this they disappeared a little bit. It was a combination that started right at the back, it must have been 20 odd passes before the move that actually opened up the opportunity.
''But the thing that turned things around when it was really balanced, you didn't know where the game was going, was a bit of luck that went Celta's way. ''
