Round up of the Nigerian players that were on target for their European clubs in league matches on Saturday, November 23.
We start off in the English Football League. In a seven-goal thriller at Montgomery Waters Meadow, former Arsenal youth-teamer Abu Ogogo netted the game-winning goal as Bristol Rovers beat Shrewsbury Town 4-3.
Three minutes from time, Ogogo found the top corner after he was fed by Sercombe.
Still in the League One, ex-Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo bagged a brace as Rotherham United came from two goals down to beat MK Dons 3-2 at Stadium mk.
Ladapo made it 2-2 when he scored from the free-kick after it was headed back across goal by Michael Ihiekwe in the 71st minute and he grabbed his second of the game five minutes from time.
Let's go to Turkey. Trabzonspor's Anthony Nwakaeme helped his team claim three points in a 3-0 victory vs Ankaragucu, scoring and providing an assist in the comprehensive win.
The experienced striker set up Trabzonspor's second goal scored by Yusuf Sari two minutes into the second half and he made sure the points were safe for the visitors when he made it 3-0 in the 56th minute.
In a Slovakian Super Liga clash at Futbalovy StadiĆ³n MFK Ruzomberok, FK Senica and Ruzomberok shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw.
Samson Akinyoola put FK Senica 1-0 up in the 22nd minute, the third of the season for the teenage striker.
Elsewhere, Kingsley Onuegbu's 78th minute goal was enough for Nea Salamis to claim a win and three points against AEK Larnaca in the Cypriot First Division.
Finally, former Germany U20 international Emmanuel Iyoha took his tally for the season to 3 goals from nine 2. Bundesliga games after netting in the 8th minute of Holstein Kiel's 6-3 rout of SV Wehen Wiesbaden at BRITA-Arena.
