We take a look at the best performing Nigerian starlets from the last round of games in the Premier League 2 on Friday evening.
One-time Flying Eagles invitee Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was on target to help Manchester City to a 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers at The County Ground.
The Citizens No. 10 produced an excellent finish to break the deadlock after 56 minutes following a pass from Rowan McDonald.
His compatriot Gavin Bazunu was in between the sticks and was influential in thwarting the attacking moves made by the opposition with some fine saves.
Elsewhere in the division, Everton's Dennis Adeniran scored a consolation for the Toffees in a 3-1 loss to Tottenham at the Haig Avenue.
He beat his fellow countryman Joshua Oluwayemi when he drilled home from a tight angle in the left channel seven minutes from time.
Oluwayemi was a solid presence in goal even though he was breached and will be proud of his brilliant saves during the game.
Defender Timothy Eyoma who was also in action was Spur's skipper on the night but Jubril Okedina was a non-playing substitute for Wayne Burnett's team.
