The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to miss out on the services of Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham as he's reportedly set to pledge his allegiance to the Three Lions of England.
Abraham, who has been in a stunning form for the Blues this season, was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation to commit his international future to the three-time African champions which he declined .
According to English newspaper Telegraph, the 21-year-old centre-forward won't turn down the chance to feature for the Three Lions if he's included in Gareth Southgate's squad for next month's European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Southgate is expected to release his squad by Thursday and many Nigerians will hope to see the Chelsea star excluded from the list.
Should he feature in any of the upcoming fixtures, the former Aston Villa striker will finally put an to the uncertainty surrounding his international future.
Meanwhile, another Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori is equally tipped to create another international tug-of-war between both countries following his awesome start to his Chelsea career.
The centre-back is being monitored by the Nigeria FA while England and Canada are very much in the race for services.
