Victor Osimhen has been included in the French Ligue 1 Team of the Week by football statistics website Whoscored.com.
The Nigeria international has been recognized for his outstanding display in Lille's 1-1 draw at Rennes on matchday six.
Though Osimhen didn't get on the scoresheet, he contributed to the opening goal scored by Jonathan Ikoné on 46 minutes.
The 20-year-old, who was awarded a rating of 7.9, was partnered in attack by Amiens SC forward Serhou Guirassy in a 4-4-2 formation.
Paris Saint-Germain's Brazil super star Neymar has made the Team of the Week cut along with experienced central defender and international teammate Thiago Silva.
Osimhen played two shots against Rennes, made two key passes, won two fouls and also contributed to his team's cause defensively by making four clearances and made one tackle and interception each.
He won an incredible eleven aerial duels over the course of ninety minutes, more than any other player in Ligue 1 in the last round of matches.
