David Okereke continued his fine form in front of goal as he netted his fourth of the season in Club Brugge's 2-0 victory over Oostende on Saturday.
The 21-year-old left Serie B side Spezia during the summer transfer window and he wasted no time before announcing his arrival in Belgium.
Having scored three goals from two previous matches, Saturday's goal makes him the joint highest goalscorer in the Belgian First Division A with four goals.
The young striker currently occupies the top spot in the League's scorers board with Dieumerci Mbokani of Royal Antwerp and he is closely followed by Emond of Standard Liege who has three goals.
He was invited to Super Eagles camp before AFCON 2019 but was a non-playing substitute in a friendly match against Egypt.
Should he continue in this form, it won't be a surprise if he gets a recall to the Super Eagles during the next international break in September.
