South Korea Coach On 2019 World Cup Draw : Second Game Crucial, We Have To Beat Nigeria
Published: December 10, 2018South Korea are already sweating on qualification to the knockout rounds of the 2019 Women's World Cup after they were drawn with France, Norway and Africa powerhouse Nigeria in Group A.
In order to qualify for the last sixteen, South Korea manager Yoon Deok-yeo plans to beat Nigeria when the two countries face off at Stade des Alpes, Grenoble before a tricky last game against the Norwegians.
The Asians begin their campaign against one of the tournament favorites, France at the iconic Parc des Princes, Paris on June 7.
''Norway and Nigeria cannot be ignored. Norway is a strong team that has already won a World Cup, and Nigeria has qualified for its eighth consecutive World Cup finals.
''The second match against Nigeria will be a crucial match and we will have to win this match and then play the decisive match against Norway.''
South Korea's biggest danger is in attack where the versatile Chelsea number ten Ji So-yun plays and another big name player is Cho So-hyun, who defends the colours of Avaldsnes IL in Norway.
