Stoke City Midfielder Etebo Racing Against The Clock To Join Eagles Afternoon Session
Published: November 13, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is in a race against time to join his international teammates in Asaba ahead of their training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
The former Warri Wolves star is presumably airborne as at the time of this report as he was due to fly via an Air Peace airline from the commercial capital, Lagos at 1330 hours.
Meanwhile, this morning's training session that was scheduled to begin at 1000 hours did not hold because more than half of the invited players were yet to report for international duty.
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi departed the English capital on Monday and is expected to link up with his international teammates as from today.
And the same goes for Spanish-based duo Kenneth Omeruo and Samuel Chukwueze, and Lokomotiv Moscow Brian Idowu who are flying in from Frankfurt.
The advertised time of the Super Eagles workout on Tuesday is 1600 hours.
