Arsenal Loanee Nwakali Progressing In Leaps And Bounds, Scores Again
Published: March 24, 2018Former Flying Eagles skipper, Kelechi Nwakali is surely garnering plenty of attention in the Dutch Eerste Divisie if his top streak of good form of late for MVV Maastricht is anything to go by.
The teenage attacker followed up his brace in his side's 3-1 away win over Utrecht two weeks ago with another strike as MVV Maastricht beat Eindhoven 2-0 on Friday evening.
His teammate, Alessandro Cirrani got the first goal on the stroke of halftime to give MVV a well deserved lead going into the break before he made sure of the points with a well taken goal of his own in stoppage time.
The goal marked his third in four games for the club after raking in ten appearances in the division since joining on loan from parent club, Arsenal.
Nwakali is taking in his second spell with MVV, having played at the club last season before returning to parent club Arsenal who then loaned him to VVV Venlo in the first half of the season.
Having marked a career high with his latest goal tally, he would hope to continue his impressive displays when MVV take on Den Bosch next Friday.
