Arsenal 0 Manchester City 3: Iwobi Subbed In; Argentina Stars Aguero & Otamendi Shine
Manchester City won their first English topflight domestic honours after beating Arsenal 3-0 in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday evening.

Nigeria winger Alex Iwobi was named on the bench, while Argentina duo Sergio Aguero and Nicolás Otamendi started in attack and defense respectively for City.

Arsenal fell behind after just 18 minutes, Argentine striker, Sergio Aguero running onto the end of a Claudio Bravo kick to chip a delicate finish over David Ospina in Arsenal goal.

Vincent Kompany pounced on a corner setpiece to beat Ospina for 2-0 13 minutes after the restart, showing sensational reaction to deflect Gundogan's strike in at the near post.

David Silva picked out the far corner with a brilliant strike to round off the scoring, Danilo dutifully putting in the assist for that one.

Iwobi who was introduced in the 73rd minute waltzed through a slagging Citizens backline to sting Claudio Bravo's palms eight minutes later but the goalkeeper stood tall to withstand the opposition's late pressure as Arsene Wenger's wait for the lone domestic competition he has not won with Arsenal continued.
