Iwobi To Arsenal Fans After Painful Loss To Tottenham : We Know How You Are Feeling
Published: February 11, 2018Alex Iwobi has sent a message to Arsenal fans in the wake of the painful 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday at the National Stadium in London, saying they are prepared to right the wrongs in Thursday's Europa League clash with Alhajji Gero's Ostersunds FK.
The Nigeria international was not named in Arsenal's starting line-up for the first time in eight matches across all competitions but came off the bench as replacement for Mohamed Elneny in the 65th minute of the contest.
Writing on Instagram, Iwobi stated : ''Being an Arsenal fan myself, yesterday's defeat was very disappointing and hard to take.
''I know it's hard to believed but we know exactly how you are feeling.
"We have another match in a few days and trust me we'll be putting in 100% to try and make this right.
''Massive love to all our fans for your support. #BIG17."
Hale End Academy product Iwobi made his 84th appearance in an Arsenal shirt against North London neighbors Spurs.
