Aina's First Senior Goal Shortlisted For Hull City Goal Of The Month
Published: February 08, 2018Chelsea loanee Ola Aina has been shortlisted for Hull City's Goal of the Month award for January 2018.
The right-back's first senior goal against Blackburn Rovers in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on January 6 has been nominated for the award along with strikes from Bowen and Dicko against Nottingham Forest.
In the 58th minute of the contest, Aina netted the winner for the Tigers when he met Jon Toral's right-wing corner with a downward header which ended up in the back of the net.
As at the time of this report, the Super Eagles defender ranked third in the Twitter poll with 17 percent of the votes.
This season, Aina has made 28 appearances for Hull City in the EFL Championship, averaging 2.6 tackles and 2.3 interceptions per game.
The former England U19 skipper has two assists to his name and has a pass success percentage of 75.
