Arsenal 22-Year-Old Nigerian Striker Makes Debut For Seventh Club
Published: February 05, 2018Super Eagles hopeful Chuba Akpom made his competitive debut for Sint-Truiden as they were beaten 2-0 by Abdul Ajagun's Kortrijk in the Belgian First Division A this past weekend.
The former England U21 international entered into the fray in the 75th minute at Stayen (Sint-Truiden), six minutes after Ajagun was substituted.
In doing so, Akpom has now made debuts for seven different clubs : Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Brighton & Hove, Coventry City, Brentford FC and Sint-Truiden.
Two goals from Jeremy Perbet either side of half-time secured an away win for Glen De Boeck's side.
The 22-year-old Akpom completed a loan move to Sint-Truiden on the final day of the winter transfer market.
The Hale End Academy product has 12 first-team appearances to his name for Arsenal.
