What Iwobi Said About Arsenal New Boys Mkhitaryan & Aubameyang After Crushing Everton
Published: February 04, 2018Alex Iwobi has commented on the performance of Arsenal newcomers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in their 5-1 rout of Everton in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Gabon international netted in his maiden appearance for the Gunners, while the ex-Manchester United star provided three assists on his home debut.
Speaking on Aubameyang , Iwobi told arsenal.com: ''You can see that he’s got electric pace and an eye for goal as well.
''He was involved in the link-up play as well, so we’re definitely happy to have him and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the team.
''He’s fun. He’s learning faces but he’s definitely enjoying his time here and there’s still more to come from him.''
On Mkhitaryan’s three assists, Iwobi said : ''We’ve seen glimpses in training and we were just waiting to see it on the pitch. As you can see from today, he’s just an amazing player.''
Against Everton, Alex Iwobi started and completed a Premier league match for only the second time this season.
