Arsenal 2 Chelsea 1: Iwobi Outshines Victor Moses As Gunners Reach League Cup Final
Arsenal secured a Wembley date with Manchester City after a pulsating comeback 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the return fixture of the Carabao Cup semifinal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Super Eagles stars, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses were named in the starting XI for their respective sides while young Nigerian striker, Chuba Akpom was unlisted in the 18-man squad for the hosts.

Pedro set up Eden Hazard for a swift finish just seven minutes as Antonio Conte's side took a quick lead at the Emirates with their Belgian talisman making no mistake to divert past David Ospina in the Arsenal goal.

The lead was short lived as Arsenal came roaring back into the game, with a Nacho Monreal's header from a corner deflecting off Antonio Rudiger and wrong footing Willy Caballero four minutes later.

Much of the play after the restart remained tepid, with Granit Xhaka blasting over after picking up a loose ball just outside the Chelsea box.

But Arsene Wenger's side were not to be denied into the hour mark, as Alexandre Lacazette made a nuisance of himself down the right flank before his attempted cross into the box fell kindly for Xhaka who diverted in.

Victor Moses made way after 72 minutes of action while Alex Iwobi came off for Aaron Ramsey six minutes from time.

The Blues number fifteen was booked in the 62nd minute for a foul on Iwobi.
