Brighton 0 vs Chelsea 4: Moses Scores As Chelsea Trounce Brighton
Published: January 20, 2018Chelsea got back to winning ways with a convincing 3-0 victory over Brighton in a Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon which saw Victor Moses score his first goal of the season.
The Nigeria international was named in the starting XI for Antonio Conte's side against the Seagulls in the encounter.
Chelsea got straight into the onslaught three minutes in through Moses who raided down the right flank to send a deflected cross for Eden Hazard who pounced and stabbed home.
It was two in less than ten minutes following another incisive attack from the visitors, with Michy Batshuayi playing Willian into space to beat Brighton and Hove goalkeeper, Matthew Ryan for the second time.
William struck the post from a freekick in the plethora of second half chances the Blues mustered before Willy Caballero denied Ezequiel Schelotto with a pointblank save as the hosts threatened to get back into the game.
Eden Hazard killed off the game with a late third, Willian releasing the Belgian who finished off in style, placing his effort into the bottom corner.
Moses joined in on the act, profiting from a Charly Musonda's floated pass to round off the scoring in the last minute.
