Chelsea Announce Victor Moses Will Celebrate Another Milestone On Boxing Day
Published: December 26, 2017Through their official website, Premier League champions Chelsea have announced that Victor Moses will celebrate another milestone if he figures against Brighton & Hove on Boxing Day.
If the number fifteen takes to the Stamford Bridge turf against the Seagulls, it would be his 100th appearance for Chelsea in all competitions since he joined the club in August 2012.
Moses has already celebrated two milestones this month, when he made his 200th Premier League appearance against Huddersfield Town (December 12) and his 50th Premier League start for Chelsea vs Southampton on December 16.
As it stands, the 27-year-old needs to play seventy six more games before he overtakes ex-Super Eagles left-back Celestine Babayaro as the Nigerian player with second most appearances for Chelsea.
The two lateral players are behind only John Obi Mikel (who appeared 372 times) in the number of games played for the club.
Victor Moses has made 69 appearances in total for Chelsea in the Premier League, 6 Champions League, 6 Europa League, 2 Club World Cup, 2 Community Shield, 9 FA Cup and 5 League Cup matches.
