Mohamed Salah Beats Nigeria Target To Liverpool Goal Of The Month
Published: December 12, 2017Egypt sensation Mohamed Salah has won his second award in less than twenty four hours, with Liverpool informing on Tuesday that the winger has scooped the club's Goal of the Month Award for November 2017.
Salah's volley in The Reds 3-0 win over Stoke City was voted the most eye-catching goal scored by a Liverpool player across all levels by the fans.
Ex-Nigeria U17 invitee Ovie Ejaria had been nominated for the award alongside Salah, Sadio Mane, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Brewster, Dhanda and Firmino.
Ejaria's goal against Newcastle United in which he beat a man and then rounded the goalkeeper to score came joint-fifth in the Goal of the Month poll.
Newly crowed BBC African Footballer of the Year Salah's goals claimed the top four positions.
Ejaria, who has represented England's U20 team, scored against Manchester United in October and has provided two assists in the Premier League 2.
