CSKA Moscow's Aaron Samuel Fails To Show Off To Arsenal, Tottenham In Manchester
Published: December 07, 2017CSKA Moscow's Nigeria international Aaron Samuel could not show off his skills to representatives of top Premier League teams in his team's 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
According to reporting by Ria Sport, scouts representing Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund were present at Old Trafford.
It has been claimed that the spies were in Manchester to monitor Aaron Samuel's teammate, talented Russia international midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, who started and went the distance against the Red Devils.
Arsenal have been keeping tabs on Golovin since the start of this season, with a view to a transfer in the near future.
Samuel, 23, has found first-team opportunities limited at the Muscovites this season, having been involved in only 11 games from a possible 30 across all competitions.
He is contracted to the Russian Premier League club until June 30, 2021.
