How Best Buds Iwobi & Akpom Reacted To Arsenal Win Against Norwich
Published: October 25, 2017Hale End Academy products Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom reasoned alike following Arsenal's hard fought 2-1 win over Norwich City on Tuesday night, admitting that the Gunners showed great character to come from behind and win.
Indeed, Arsene Wenger's side were staring elimination from the League Cup in the face until new kid on the block Edward Nketiah equalized with his first touch of the ball in the 85th minute, before notching the winner in extra time.

Akpom and Iwobi have known each other since the age of three and rose through the Gunners ranks before making their first team debuts on 14 September 2013 and 27 October 2015 respectively.
The former England U21 international recorded his eighth appearance in the League Cup against the Canaries, and the Super Eagle has played five games since his first-team debut against Sheffield Wednesday.
