Vice President of Nigeria Proud Of Mikel, Iheanacho, Iwobi, Ighalo & Super Eagles Stars
Published: November 09, 2016Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, acknowledged that the Super Eagles are working hard in their bid to qualify for the 2018 World Cup after visiting the squad at the National Stadium on Tuesday evening.
With more than 350 Nigerian tribes, the country’s number two citizen has said that football is a strong unifying factor in the country.
“Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting our Super Eagles while they trained for the World Cup Qualifier at the National Stadium, Abuja, ” the Vice President stated.
“It is undeniable that the game of football unites us as a people and nation.
“We are honoured by the young men and coaching staff who are tirelessly working to ensure the nation qualifies for the 2018 World Cup. We are extremely proud of you.”
